What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onsite Paramedic (Occupational Health) position at HV Occupational Health and Safety?
This position is located approximately 30 minutes outside Portland in Bull Run, OR. A one-time payment of $750 will be provided to hired, non-local candidates to assist with mobilization expenses.

Responsibilities:
Administer emergency medical care, including respiratory, trauma, and cardiac interventions, and conduct patient assessments (e.g., drug screenings).
Perform record-keeping, filing, and data entry as required, excluding treatment-related records.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
Provide information on medical treatments and procedures, promoting a culture of health and safety.
Measure vital signs and collect specimens
Document all patient interactions and care provided.
Monitor worker health and manage preventative care on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
Maintain readiness for on-site incidents.
Requirements:
Must be able to work 50-60 hours per week.
Must be able to work a rotation of 8 weeks on and 1 week off.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts (rotating day, overnight, and weekend shifts)
Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
Ability to climb without difficulty.
Ability to frequently stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in small spaces.
Ability to talk, hear, and taste/smell while performing job duties.
Must have a favorable driving record for the past 5 years.
Must pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
Ability to work independently in remote or isolated locations
Knowledge of industry-specific safety procedures preferred (construction, mining, etc.)
Skills and Experience
Strong critical thinking and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
Skilled in administering emergency care (CPR, trauma management, etc.).
Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local/state regulations).
Proficient in medical record-keeping and reporting.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with workers and management.
Physical stamina to lift, assist, and manage patients.
Ability to remain calm and professional under stress.
Experience as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider

Salary Transparency:
As required by Oregon law, the salary range for this position is $77,220 - $116,480. The offered salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
