Accountable for growing, managing and improving overall performance and profitability of assigned branch(s), including Sales, Operations, Safety, Employee Development, and Branch Events.
What we do: HVAC Distributors, Inc. is a regional distributor and manufacturer’s representative of a complete line of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, water heating, and energy management products to the residential and commercial construction and replacement markets. We differentiate ourselves from other distributors by providing support services an HVAC dealer requires to be successful. First and foremost, we execute, nearly flawlessly. Taking orders and delivering the right product, right place, right time, and right price is what we have done well for over 35 years.
We currently employ over 180 team members in 14 branches serving contractors and dealers throughout Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Northern VA, New York and West VA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE AND PROFITABILITY
- Develop and attain annual branch budget.
SALES
Sales/Customer Service
- Responsible for the performance of all day-to-day counter and customer service functions ensuring the highest level of teamwork and collaboration.
- Develops and executes Action Plan within framework provided by Accountable Manager focused on the acquisition, development and growth of both new and existing branch customers.
OPERATIONS
Shipping, Receiving & Delivery
- Ensures Branch Associates are performing all day-to-day shipping, receiving, and warehousing functions ensuring the highest level of accuracy, productivity, and teamwork.
Operations/Inventory Management
- Analyzes trends in equipment and parts sales; Recommends product additions and deletions per customer/sales demand and works with Direct Manager and Purchasing to provide adequate stock levels.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years’ sales experience with at least 2 years in branch management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Class “C” Driver’s License with good driving record.
