Description

Medicus has an opening for a Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide maternity leave coverage in southeastern Tennessee.

Schedule & Shifts:

• 12-hour shifts
• Days: 7 AM - 7 PM
• Nights: 7 PM - 7 AM
• 15 shifts per month

Requirements:

• Active license & DEA (or easily transferrable)
• Board Certification
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in performing intubations, central line placements, and arterial line placements

Patient Volume:

• 12 patients per shift

Support:

• Collaborative team of MDs and APPs

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform advanced procedures such as catheterization and IV insertion.
• Administer medications and treatments, including tube feeding and botulinum toxin treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in critical care settings.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and document patient progress.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care and treatment options.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Locum tenens

Pay: $100.00 - $115.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
