Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms including Windows and Mac OS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, operating systems, and office applications.
- Assist users with help desk inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of technical problems.
- Maintain and manage firewall configurations to ensure network security.
- Document all support interactions in the ticketing system for tracking purposes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve processes and enhance user experience.
- Conduct regular maintenance on IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop support issues on Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components and their functionality.
- Experience with help desk operations and customer service best practices.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure principles including network configurations and firewall management.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and office applications.
