Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting users with technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems and troubleshooting techniques to ensure efficient resolution of technical problems.
Duties
- Provide first-level support for technical issues related to Windows, Mac OS, and other operating systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with LAN connectivity, firewalls, and desktop support.
- Assist users in managing their computer systems and software applications effectively.
- Utilize ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems to log, track, and manage support requests.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to escalate complex issues as needed.
- Maintain documentation of technical processes and user guides for future reference.
- Offer exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and effectively with users to understand their needs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Strong understanding of LAN configurations and firewall settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on user satisfaction.
- Experience in computer management and desktop support is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT support processes and tools such as ServiceNow is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
