Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating prospective bid opportunities.

Prepare job budgets, estimates, and proposals for customers.

Track and obtain customer updates on pending estimates not yet awarded.

Maintain job records to include open bids, bids lost, bids awarded, and jobs completed.

Interface with Senior Estimators and Project Managers on jobs awarded to the company.

Assist in the review of completed jobs to refine future estimates.

Perform sales and purchasing responsibilities as directed.

Network with new potential customers to generate bid opportunities.

Willingness to receive ongoing training in the estimating field.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job requirements

Associate degree or higherpreferred

Knowledge of AutoBid SheetMetal (previously Quickpen) a plus

Oral Communication Skills and Customer Relations Diplomacy

Written Communication Skills

Math Aptitude Negotiations

Technical Communication and Organization Planning

Professionalism

Proficiency in understanding construction plans and specifications

Reading Skills and Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Must be authorized to work in the US.
