What You’ll Be Doing
- You will build excellent relationships with business travelers, travel managers, third parties, and community organizations in order to generate business for the hotel.
- Your daily tasks will include prospecting for new business, responding to incoming RFPs and inquiries, executing contracts, and communicating client expectations to the hotel team.
- Your boss is the General Manager & supported by the Area Sales Executive!
- A job in sales is a great way to learn about the entire hotel. This position can set you up for a progressive career in the sales discipline, including learning about new market segments, tackling larger hotels, serving as Director of Sales, and even working as a national salesperson or third-party planner.
Education & Experience
- A college degree and/or two years of hotel experience and/or combination of education and experience.
- Hotel Sales Experience, Highly Preferred.
- Limited Service Marriott and/or Similar Brand Experience, Highly Preferred.
- Extended Stay Hotel Experience, Highly Preferred.

- Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
