Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Parts Counter Specialist to join our team at HW Kia of West County. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts.
- Respond to customer inquiries providing price quotes and information.
- Maintain accurate records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order parts.
- Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
- Notify the service advisor and customer when special ordered parts have been received.
- Issue and track requested shop tools to technicians.
- Replenish assigned inventory daily.
- Keep front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of automotive technology and terminology.
- CDK experience preferred.
- Kia automotive brand experience a plus.
- Extremely organized with dedicated attention to detail.
- Able to work while standing for extended hours.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
