Job Summary
We are seeking a Group Fitness and Boxing Instructor to join our growing gym. Empower Core Fitness and Boxing Studio provides effective fat burning workouts to help members transform their lives physically & mentally. The Trainer also assists in providing a friendly, motivating and supportive environment along with a comprehensive educational program focusing on weight-loss & fat-loss. The trainer also provides exceptional customer service and focuses on building positive working relationships with members and staff.
Responsibilities
Create, set-up and provide fat burning workouts that deliver results
Implement circuit training workouts that are fun & effective and are conducive to HWD curriculum
Constantly motivate members & guests during, before & after workouts
Build positive relationships with clients, members & staff
Assist in selling merchandise & supplements
Post professional company photos on social media
Ensure a safe and secure workout location and environment
Other duties as assigned
Lead a wide variety of classes to Empower Core members and guests
Develop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping members engaged and safe
Encourage students to continue with their pursuit of exercising and help them make good health decisions
Promote programs, classes, and membership through social media and networking
Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies
Qualifications
High school diploma / GED required
Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification
Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred
First aid and CPR certified
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
