Key Responsibilities
This role involves actively promoting safety and accountability within the team, ensuring quality control compliance, analyzing equipment operations, and leading shift activities to maximize productivity. The Operations Leader will also partner with maintenance to solve equipment changes and problems, manage team aspects including payroll approval, performance management, communication, and coaching.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent, five years of work experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience, is required. Experience in a refractory operation or similar process is preferred. Knowledge of hydraulic equipment, computer operation skills (preferably Oracle ERP), and a bachelor's degree are also desired.
