Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager/Accountant with a strong background in financial management, payroll processing, and accounting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing payroll, and supporting overall business operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to handle sensitive financial and personnel matters.
Key Responsibilities:Human Resources Management:
- Oversee the full-cycle HR process, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.
- Develop and enforce company HR policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance with employment laws.
- Manage benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Handle employee performance reviews, training, and professional development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, tax documents, and payroll information.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.
Accounting & Financial Management:
- Manage and oversee the organization’s payroll system, ensuring accuracy, compliance with tax regulations, and timely disbursement of wages.
- Maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including payroll taxes and filings.
- Assist with audits and financial reporting for stakeholders and government agencies.
- Develop and implement financial controls and policies to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), payroll regulations, and HR compliance.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, or other payroll/accounting software.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Knowledge of employment laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage employee relations and financial reporting effectively.

Pay: $67,531.00 - $70,000.00 per year
