Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager/Accountant with a strong background in financial management, payroll processing, and accounting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing payroll, and supporting overall business operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to handle sensitive financial and personnel matters.

Key Responsibilities:Human Resources Management:

  • Oversee the full-cycle HR process, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Develop and enforce company HR policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance with employment laws.
  • Manage benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Handle employee performance reviews, training, and professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, tax documents, and payroll information.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.

Accounting & Financial Management:

  • Manage and oversee the organization’s payroll system, ensuring accuracy, compliance with tax regulations, and timely disbursement of wages.
  • Maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including payroll taxes and filings.
  • Assist with audits and financial reporting for stakeholders and government agencies.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and policies to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), payroll regulations, and HR compliance.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, or other payroll/accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare, or small business financial management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage employee relations and financial reporting effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $67,531.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Salary : $67,531 - $70,000
