Supervision and Leadership:
· Provide clinical supervision and guidance to a team of mental health clinicians, including therapists, counselors, and other behavioral health professionals.
· Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages professional development and continuous improvement.
· Conduct regular supervision meetings, case consultations, and performance evaluations.
Clinical Oversight:
· Ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards in the provision of mental health services.
· Monitor and evaluate the quality of clinical assessments, treatment plans, and interventions to ensure they align with best practices and evidence-based approaches.
· Review and approve documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Provide some availability and coverage for emergency consultations
Training and Development:
· Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for the clinical team.
· Stay abreast of the latest research, developments, and best practices in the field of mental health to incorporate into clinical supervision and training.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Collaborate with other department leaders, interdisciplinary teams, and external partners to enhance the overall effectiveness of mental health services.
· Facilitate open and effective communication channels within the clinical team.
Program Improvement:
· Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
· Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of mental health services.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
· Maintain an unencumbered clinical license in the State of Ohio ( LPCC- S Status).
· A master's or doctoral degree in mental health, counseling, psychology, or social work.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and support professional growth.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities.
