The Store Manager is primarily focused on demonstrating true leadership with vision, collaboration, trust, respect and effectiveness while operating a leading auto repair shop.
Responsibilities

- Helping outside sales in identifying, developing and maintaining wholesale accounts

- Displaying pride in navigating a shop recognized for safety and appearance

Qualifications
The ideal Store Manager will have some experience in automotive repair, and also have strength of character with the ability to demonstrate fairness in all customer and employee interactions including:
- Vehicle problem diagnosis using tools and techniques to identify the root cause of a malfunction, often starting with visual inspection, listening for unusual sounds, and then using diagnostic scanners to read error codes and test vehicle systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or college degree is a plus
- ASE certification preferred
- Experience in automotive repair a plus
- Passion for delivering customer care and building long term relationships
- Knowledge of inventory controls, stocking levels is a plus
- Personal drive, self-motivation and initiative to accomplish business goals
Job Description
- Must possess exceptional customer service, organization, time management, and communication skills
- Obtain and prepare parts quotes
- Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
- Supply Service Technicians with parts as required
- Ability to communicate customers interests, need, and requests to management and technicians
- Answer phones and direct customers to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to appropriate individual for resolution
- Calculate the customer’s bill using the shop’s computer system
- Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order
- Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers
- Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits, and verify against all cash, checks, and credit card payments on hand at the end of shift – communicate any discrepancies
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $125,000.00 per hour
