Our client, an international freight forwarder & customs broker is seeking a Senior Entry Writer for their New Jersey office. The Senior Entry Writer will be responsible for the correct and timely creation and transmission of CBP entries of key accounts and serve as a customer advocate.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Entry Writer.
- Experience using CargoWise is highly desirable.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Active collaboration with colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and review documentation, to input and transmit data for CBP release of shipments.
- Track and trace shipments and coordinate with airlines, steamship lines, freight forwarders and CFS on the availability of imported shipments.
- Proactively handle any challenges that arise in the day-to-day operations, promoting positive results.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
