Job Title: Press Brake Operator II
Department: Forming
Status: Full-Time

Supervisor: Forming Team Lead
Manages Others: No
SUMMARY:
The Press Brake Operator II uses brakes, sheer, spot-welder, PEM insert machine, and a roller.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand jobs, tags, storage, and electronical logging.
- Read and interpret most blueprints.
- Understands all pieces of equipment in press area including presses, insertion equipment, finishing equipment, insertion equipment, and spot-welding equipment.
- Run any programmed job, correctly inspect the first part, and set up the job.
- Establish inspection and basic tooling from the tooling list.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Vocational or Trade School preferred
- 3 to 5 years of Brake press experience preferred
- Forklift certification required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to work with others to complete tasks or work individually.
- Proficient reading skills for tape measures, caliper, and other measuring tools
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Lift, carry, push, and or pull 1- 50 lbs. frequently.
- Regularly sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.
- Work in a fast-paced industrial environment while wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Normal work hours with occasional optional as well as mandatory overtime necessary to meet deadlines
- Normal office and manufacturing plant environment which may include exposure to dust, industrial solvents, liquids and other materials.
- The working environment will extend to both hot and cold conditions
