What are the responsibilities and job description for the AR Admin position at Hy-Tek Intralogistics?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, invoices, statements, ect.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Maintaining historical records.
- Paying employees by verifying and paying expense reports.
- Paying vendors by scheduling checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance.
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.
- Continuing to improve the payment process.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required with a concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in Accounting or Finance.
- Working knowledge of AR. AP. GL and reports in Silk and Acumatica preferred.
- Experience working with multiple levels of leadership.
- Manages time effectively and adapts to quickly changing priorities.
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Verbal, written communication, and organizational skills are also needed in this position.
- Must have strong computer skills.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft excel.
- Excellent problem solving, judgment making, analytical, customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships with all parts of the business, IT, HR, Divisions, Operations, local accounting team and larger company wide accounting team.
Working Conditions:
- This position reports into our Florence, Kentucky office.
- Travel on an as needed basis.
- Working in a stationary position for an extended period.
- Operating computers for an extended period.
- Moving or traversing for an extended period.
- This position spends most of the time inside a climate-controlled environment.
