What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Software Developer position at Hy-Tek Intralogistics?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications in the .NET framework.
- Be part of the team supporting the installation of Hy-Tek / FASCOR’s applications, wireless RF technology including RF handhelds, 3rd Party products such as MS SQL Server, MS SSRS, QT, and Bartender Labeling.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in software or a related field is required.
- 3 years of software development is preferred.
- Demonstratable experience developing WMS or WES applications and/or supply chain applications is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL and Relational database (SQL Server preferred); SQL Server Data Tools
- . NET Framework (.Net Core 5 and .Net 4.8 )
- Web development
- Web API (both creating and consuming)
- C# and general OOP knowledge
- Experience with ORMs (Entity Framework) or Micro-ORMs (Dapper.NET) a plus
- Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript & jQuery
- Version Control (Git)
- Azure DevOps
Working Conditions:
- Travel on an as needed basis.
- Some weekend/night work required as needed.
- Working in an office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities.
- Working in a stationary position for an extended period.
- Moving or traversing for an extended period.
- Occasional ascending and descending scaffolding and/or mezzanines.
- Operating computers for an extended period.
- Possible exposure to noise levels exceeding recommended DBA levels.
