The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for responding to guest and employee emergencies
- Vendor, guest, and contractor check in/check out
- Logging and dispatching lost and found
- Receiving and dispatching mail
- Delivering items requested by guests to their guest rooms
- Incident and accident response and reporting
- Providing basic first aid
- Implementing safety and security protocols and procedures for the hotel.
- Regular monitoring and walking of hotel premises.
- Maintain outstanding customer service in all interactions with guests and colleagues

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk moderate distances
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Previous security experience preferred
- Level 2 Security Guard Card preferred
