Hyatt Centric Beale Street Memphis is hiring immediately for a full-time seasonal Cabana / Pool attendant position. We use elevated, locally produced, seasonally appropriate, and responsibly sourced foods and products to create satisfying and enjoyable meals. We specialize in personalized, innovative solutions to offer selective clients and their customers a boutique gourmet dining experience. Among the most important responsibilities are to provide food and beverage service to guests following all liquor and food service laws. The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the pool area including; stocking and replenishing towels, maintaining cleanliness of pool deck, organizing chairs and tables. This person must have good communication skills and can work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines. This person must have good communication skills, greeting visitors with courtesy and friendliness. This is a fast-paced position that will involve constant customer interaction at our poolside bar and grille.

Qualifications

o Seasonal position - full availability including weekends and holidays through pool season
o Valid TN Server/ABC Card
o Serving Experience
o A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
o A high school degree or equivalent
o Have at least one year of expertise in a related field
o Refined verbal communication skills.
o Productive, interacting personality and professionalism.
o Strong activity and time management skills
o Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight. Ability to stand for long periods of time
o Ability to withstand hot, outdoor climates for sustained periods of time
