Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our team as the Operations Assistant Manager focused in F&B at Hyatt Centric located in Key West, FL. The Hyatt Centric is centrally located within Old Town and a short stroll to the lively Duval Street.
The Operations Assistant Manager is responsible to oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel, including Four Flamingos, A Richard Blais Key West Kitchen, Blue Mojito Bar, In Room Dining, and Banquets. Additionally, the Operations Assistant Manager will have the opportunity to lead shifts in the Housekeeping or Front Office departments.
Responsibilities may include scheduling, payroll, colleague training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. The Assistant Manager will lead F&B colleagues during their shift with on-the-spot coaching, provide excellent customer service, service recovery, and working with other department managers for a flawless customer experience. Shifts days and times will vary each week depending upon business levels. This position is paid Hourly and will be scheduled 45 hours per week.

Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Detail oriented, takes initiative and stays organized
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others
- Able to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
- Ability to push, pull, and lift a moderate amount of weight
- Flexible availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays, 45 hours per week
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience within a hospitality F&B and/or Rooms team
- Preferred previous F&B Supervisory experience in a hotel setting
