Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership:
- Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
- Provide direct supervision, mentoring, and coaching to nursing staff.
- Lead Clinical Programs as assigned
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Improvement:
- Ensure adherence to state, federal, and CMS guidelines.
- Drive quality assurance initiatives and implement corrective actions as needed.
Operational & Administrative Management:
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and performance evaluations.
Interdisciplinary Communication:
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care plans.
Leadership Coverage:
- Serve as the key point of contact during the Director of Nursing’s absence, ensuring uninterrupted care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Licensure & Education:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree (MSN) preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven clinical nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience with a focus on regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and standard office software.
