Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership:

• Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Provide direct supervision, mentoring, and coaching to nursing staff.
• Lead Clinical Programs as assigned

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Improvement:

• Ensure adherence to state, federal, and CMS guidelines.
• Drive quality assurance initiatives and implement corrective actions as needed.

Operational & Administrative Management:

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and performance evaluations.

Interdisciplinary Communication:

• Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care plans.

Leadership Coverage:

• Serve as the key point of contact during the Director of Nursing’s absence, ensuring uninterrupted care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Licensure & Education:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree (MSN) preferred.
• Experience:
• Proven clinical nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience with a focus on regulatory compliance and quality improvement.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and standard office software.
