Thompson Miami Beach seeks an enthusiastic Leader to join our Rooms Operations team as Director of Front Office. This role will be focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences; you will be part of a team passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills and building connections with stakeholders, colleagues, and guests across the organization. This position reports to the hotel's Director of Rooms.

The Role
The Director of Front Office is responsible for all duties of the front desk operation which includes : staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling. The Director of Front Office should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities. In addition to assisting in the operation of the Front Office and guest services personnel, this position will respond quickly to guest requests and / or complaints in a friendly manner and ensure that appropriate action is taken to guarantee guest satisfaction.

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic background
Previous hotel pre-opening experience preferred
