The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during breakfast hours in the hotel's dining area. This includes setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet, assisting guests, and ensuring a clean and pleasant dining environment. The Breakfast Attendant plays a key role in delivering a positive guest experience and ensuring that all food and beverage offerings meet the hotel's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring that food and beverage items are stocked and presented attractively.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, assisting with seating and answering any questions regarding breakfast offerings.
- Provide outstanding customer service, addressing guests' needs and requests promptly and courteously.
- Monitor food levels throughout breakfast hours, replenishing items as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and wiping down surfaces.
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed, including handling and storing food properly.
- Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages for guests, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Assist guests with any special requests or dietary requirements, offering alternatives when necessary.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner and escalate to management when appropriate.
- Close the breakfast area at the end of the service, ensuring that all items are properly stored or disposed of, and the area is left clean and organized.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while working as part of the team.
