We are looking for a passionate General Manager leader who cares about making a difference and running a well-functioning department, by leading dedicated colleagues to care for our guests through caring and authentic service. At Park Hyatt Washington, we strive to improve our operation through experimentation and empathy. This leader will live our values and develop the team as we look to reach even higher levels of success. The General Manager will oversee the entire experience, bringing new and creative ideas to retain and attract business, and lead a team of approximately 50 colleagues. They will work closely with the culinary team to deliver memorable experiences for our guests and patrons.
Responsibilities include :
- Short- and long-term planning for the department areas of focus, including financial success, and customer and colleague satisfaction
- Implement and maintain F&B sales and marketing programs
- Hire, train, empower, and develop colleagues and managers
- Review performance and support career objectives of colleagues and managers
- Oversee payroll, scheduling, productivity, reporting, forecasts, inventory, and budget
- Maintain cost control of beverage program and labor cost and productivity
- Address questions as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
- Implement procedures to increase guest and colleague satisfaction
- Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
- Ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations, local State regulations and Hyatt standards
- Establish, maintain, and develop processes and procedures to grow outlets performance
- Floor presence is a requirement during service
- Previous luxury fine dining experience required
Salary Range : 80,000 to $110,000
