Position Summary :
Responsible for set up and breakdown of orders and ensures a proper and efficient deliver to guest rooms or suites (for meeting in suites). The server / busser is also accountable for ensuring hallways are kept free of tables, trays and other service equipment. Must perform all other related duties as directed.
Job Duties :
- Sets up tables / trays with linen, silverware, napkins and all other mise en place.
- Ensure orders reflect department standards, i.e. : tray / table set up and food presentation prior to leaving department.
- Records server number on guest check.
- Acknowledges guests with appropriate warmth and LPM greeting.
- Follows up on guest request(s).
- Follow department standards when entering guest room.
- Have knowledge of food preparation to respond to guest inquiry.
- Properly set up table / food in guest rooms, pursuant to department standards. Break down when notified by guest
- Set up and break down meeting in suite as notated on BEO. Replenish items as necessary.
- Other related duties as noted.
