As the first point of contact for guests, the Host / Hostess plays an integral role in delivering a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing top-tier service.Key Responsibilities : Greeting and Seating Guests : Welcome guests with a warm smile, manage reservations, and seat guests promptly.Reservation Management : Assist with managing the reservation system and ensure accurate seating arrangements.Guest Relations : Address guest inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive experience throughout their visit.Managing Wait Times : Notify guests of wait times and keep them informed about the status of their table.Support Front-of-House Operations : Work closely with servers and management to ensure smooth operation of the dining room.Maintain Cleanliness and Organization : Keep the host stand and waiting area clean and organized.Provide Information : Offer guests menu and drink details as needed and inform them about daily specials.Upselling : Suggest menu items or drinks based on guest preferences.Hyatt is an equal opportunity employer.
