Job Summary
The Parking Attendant is responsible for managing the arrival and departure experience of hotel guests and ensuring their vehicles are safely parked and retrieved. This position plays a crucial role in providing a seamless and welcoming experience while maintaining the safety and organization of the hotel's parking facilities.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests with a professional and friendly demeanor upon arrival.
- Provide clear instructions to guests regarding parking procedures, valet tickets, and retrieval processes.
- Assist guests with unloading luggage and offer support when needed
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Handle all types of vehicles, including manual and automatic transmissions.
- Maintain the security of keys and ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas.
- Monitor the parking area to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.
- Report any hazards, damages, or issues with the parking facility to management.
- Conduct regular inspections of the parking area for compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of valet tickets and parked vehicles.
- Report any incidents, such as vehicle damage or accidents, immediately to the supervisor or management.
- Provide detailed incident reports when required.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay knowledgeable about hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide recommendations and directions.
- Collaborate with the front desk to ensure seamless guest experiences.
