What you will be doing:
In this role you will welcome guests, Process check-in and check out's, manage their information, distribute keys and assign rooms, store luggage, deliver small items to guest rooms, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us.
- Strong knowledge of software applications is beneficial, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (Colleague Advantage, Opera Express, Hyattconnect, OnQ, Opera Cloud, Fosse, Lightspeed, HotSOS, GXP, BOB, Kipsu, Slack).
- Strong communication and listening skills and excellent speaking, reading, and writing ability.
- Fluency in English: additional languages preferred. Spanish language skills are highly desired.
- Flexible schedule required for days, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in Microsoft and software systems
- High energy with effective and influential people skills. Positive attitude and the desire to motivate others.
- The ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously should pose a challenge without being overwhelming.
- Ability to comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
Hotel front office experience is preferred but not required. One of the most important skills that a front desk agent will need is attention to detail and excellent people skills. In addition to the above listed items, below are additional requirements and expectations.
