What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback position at Hyatt Place Knoxville/Downtown?
The Five Thirty Lounge rooftop bar is seeking Barbacks to join our team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get into food and beverage or for someone looking to break into a higher-end food and beverage environment! This is also a feeder position for bartender roles with us– teaching many skills and abilities needed to get behind the bar!
Friday and Saturday availability is required - including during football season.
Your Responsibilities
- Barbacks make sure bartenders have everything they need to perform the basic functions of the role (clean glasses, garnishes, stock bottles, etc.)
- Keep working areas clean and in accordance with health code standards
- Ensures bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need
- Evening availability: The Five Thirty Lounge is open Monday-Saturday, 4PM-12AM, and Sunday, 2PM-8PM
- Ability to interact with guests on a professional, yet friendly level
