What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at Hyatt Place Knoxville/Downtown?
The Hyatt Place Knoxville/Downtown is seeking a part-time Night Auditor to join our team! This is an overnight position, scheduled 2-3 nights a week from 11PM-7AM.
Your Responsibilities
- Approach all encounters with guests with genuine care and hospitality with a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Complete the Night Audit checklist.
- Maintain cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures.
- Perform all Front Office functions between the hours of 11pm-7am, as well as basic maintenance and housekeeping duties when necessary. Handle and follow through on all guest requests required during 11pm-7am.
- Follow safety and emergency procedures to keep yourself, guests, and the hotel safe and secure. - Have a working knowledge of security procedures.
- Train any new Night Auditors as requested by management.
- Complete any reports as requested by management in a timely manner.
- Check Pass On logs and emails throughout shift.
- Attend meetings as required by management.
- Perform any other duties as requested by Front Desk Manager or any other member of management.
What You Need
- 1 year of night audit or front desk experience
- Work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Problem solve and be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Effectively listen to guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Respond to emergency situations and perform and maintain composure in stressful, high pressure situations.
- Work on a computer and work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions.
- Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
