We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their needs are met with exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a knack for sales, and experience with multiple sales systems.
As the first point of contact, you will represent our brand and contribute to a positive guest experience.. Provide administrative support to the sales team, managing customer relationships, ensuring smooth sales processes, and contributing to meeting sales goals by handling tasks like data entry, of rooming lists. guest/s room block inquiries ,order processing for meeting rooms, customer follow-up, and coordinating sales activities, while maintaining excellent communication with both customers and the sales team; they often play a key role in training new sales representatives and monitoring sales
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with necessary information about the facility.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate services for guests.
- Promote and sell products or services available at the front desk, utilizing sales techniques.
- Maintain an organized meeting rooms and ensuring public spaces are clean and presentable.
- Perform basic retail math to assist in processing transactions accurately.
- Conduct product demos when necessary to enhance guest experience and drive sales.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service environment is preferred, particularly in hotels or similar settings.
- Familiarity with PMS systems is highly desirable.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with guests effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service are crucial for success in this role.
