Key responsibilities include:
- Staff Supervision:
- Train and mentor front desk staff on proper guest service procedures, including check-in/check-out protocols, handling cash transactions, and resolving guest issues.
- Assign tasks and manage schedules for front desk staff during the PM shift.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Address employee concerns and disciplinary issues when necessary.
- Guest Service:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, providing accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Efficiently process check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate guest information and room assignments.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, taking necessary steps to resolve issues effectively.
- Handle special requests and coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs.
- Operations Management:
- Monitor room availability and manage reservations, including handling cancellations and changes.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation at the front desk.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Report any operational issues or maintenance concerns to the appropriate department.
- Compliance and Security:
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures, including guest registration requirements and security protocols.
- Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security concerns to management.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
