Key Responsibilities for the Hotel Sales Manager include:
- Business Development & Sales: Identify and secure new group sales opportunities to drive hotel revenue.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, associations, and event planners.
- Contract Negotiation: Develop and finalize sales agreements to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Collaboration with Hotel Departments: Work with catering, banquet, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Site Visits & Presentations: Conduct property tours and sales presentations for potential clients.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay competitive.
- Sales Reporting & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records in sales databases and generate reports on sales performance.
- Networking & Industry Events: Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Revenue & Target Achievement: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and uphold Hyatt and Commonwealth Hotels standards.
What We are Looking for in a Hotel Sales Manager include:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
