What you will be doing
In this role, you will be responsible for elevating the banquet department to the next level. Revitalizing the department with new initiatives and focusing on current procedures. Other duties may be assigned as needed. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the set-up and break down of food and beverage operations during the hotel functions. Supervise food and beverage service throughout banquet functions to ensure quality service and product quality. Assist with the planning, organizing, and execution of all banquet functions including, but not limited to, breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, etc. Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service and respond to requests in a timely and efficient manner. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.
Education & Experience
Two to four years related experience and/or training.
