The Employee Cafeteria Attendant plays a vital role in providing Hyatt Regency Boston colleagues with nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean and welcoming environment. This position ensures the smooth operation of the employee dining area by preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent service to all hotel colleagues.

- Prepare and serve meals according to the daily menu, ensuring quality and presentation standards.
- Replenish food items and supplies as needed to maintain service flow.
- Monitor food temperatures and storage conditions to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the cafeteria, including dining areas, serving stations, and kitchen equipment.
- Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines as required by local health departments and company policies.
- Greet and assist colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
- Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies; report shortages to the Chef on duty.
- Assist with special cafeteria events or functions as needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Tolerance to work in varying temperature conditions (hot kitchens, refrigerated areas)
