Night Auditor

What you will be doing:
- Check guest in and out of rooms.
- Prepare daily food and beverage revenue report data by auditing POS revenue, covers, and servers fees, tips paid out and settlements.
- Run audit reports from the Front office PMS, Credit Card system, and POS reports.
- Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout their shift.
- Input on the PC revenue/expenses/ allowances to generate the daily reports.
- Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, Excel spreadsheet, etc.
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate a 10- key by touch.
- Ability to effectively deal with guest concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.
- Ability to access and accurately input information using corporate revenue reporting software.
- Must have excellent telephone etiquette skills.
- Previous experience in a guest service and/or accounting position is preferred.
- Must be available to work the overnight shift.
- Prior hospitality supervisory experience preferred.
