Position Summary: The House-person is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel and assisting both Laundry and Housekeeping departments in various tasks depending on the hotel’s occupancy. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position.
Detailed Description:
- Always provide the highest quality of service to the guest.
- Anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
- Must respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests.
- Consistently ensure that linen closets, as well as linen and storage rooms are stocked.
- Wash and restock glassware for guestrooms.
- Receive all supplies ordered for hotel and place in designated areas.
- Assist with obtaining amenities and supplies for room attendants.
- When necessary, assist Housekeeping with cleaning rooms.
- When necessary, assist laundry with collecting, distributing, cleaning or folding laundry.
- Abide by all organizational policies and procedures.
