Summary
The Server Assistant is a key part of our dining service team, responsible primarily for supporting the Food Server in delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction. The role demands high energy, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of service and safety.
Responsibilities
Assist Food Servers with the efficient and courteous serving of guests to ensure a high-quality dining experience.
Help with setting up and clearing tables, maintaining a clean, orderly, and inviting dining environment.
Facilitate effective communication between servers and kitchen staff to manage guest orders swiftly and accurately.
Ensure the dining area is properly prepared before service, including setting tables and organizing dining utensils.
Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the dining area during service, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and co-workers.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, pulling, and pushing moderate weight
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with continual customer interaction
- A team-oriented approach, with a commitment to supporting colleagues and enhancing guest experiences
- Previous experience in food and beverage is preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old to qualify
