What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Guest Service Agent - 2nd shift position at Hyatt Regency Lexington?
- Welcome, check-in and direct guests at arrival utilizing Hyatt Service Brand Standards
- Pre-register and produce key packets
- Handle cashier duties and balance one’s bank at conclusion of shift
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Maintain complete knowledge at all times of:
a) hotel features/services, hours of operation
b) room types, numbers, layout, decor, appointments and location
c) room rates, special packages and promotions
d) daily house count and expected arrivals/departures
e) room availability status for any given day
f) scheduled daily group activities
- Document all guest requests, complaints or problems
- Take, record and relay messages accurately, completely and legibly.
- Other duties as assigned by management in response to operational demands
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic, friendly, courteous individuals
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
