What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Guest Service Agent - 2nd shift position at Hyatt Regency Lexington?

  • Welcome, check-in and direct guests at arrival utilizing Hyatt Service Brand Standards
  • Pre-register and produce key packets
  • Handle cashier duties and balance one’s bank at conclusion of shift
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Maintain complete knowledge at all times of:

a) hotel features/services, hours of operation

b) room types, numbers, layout, decor, appointments and location

c) room rates, special packages and promotions

d) daily house count and expected arrivals/departures

e) room availability status for any given day

f) scheduled daily group activities

  • Document all guest requests, complaints or problems
  • Take, record and relay messages accurately, completely and legibly.
  • Other duties as assigned by management in response to operational demands
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, courteous individuals
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
