Front Desk Manager – Hyatt Regency Milwaukee

Hyatt Regency Milwaukee is seeking an experienced and service-driven Front Desk Manager to help lead our Front Office operations, including front desk and bell/shuttle teams. You will work alongside a second Front Office Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, high-volume hotel. This position requires second shift and weekend availability.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of progressive hotel experience, or equivalent education/experience mix
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Strong skills in guest service, leadership, and problem-solving
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
- Experience with Micros Opera and Hyatt systems strongly preferred
- Familiarity with airline crew logistics and billing processes
- Experience in a large convention/group hotel environment a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily front desk and bell operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and team support
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and service recovery opportunities
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate front office team members
- Manage scheduling, timekeeping, payroll, and labor productivity
- Monitor daily room inventory, group blocks, and rate strategy to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Support successful airline crew movement and group arrivals/departures
- Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, policies, and procedures
- Participate in the Manager on Duty program and emergency response
- Collaborate with Accounting on billing, credit, and audit accuracy
- Maintain supply par levels, front office organization, and key control
- Support hotel initiatives to drive guest satisfaction scores and colleague engagement

Pay: $46,943.75 - $56,534.41 per year
