Front Desk Manager – Hyatt Regency Milwaukee
481 Rooms | 30,000 sq. ft. of Meeting Space

Hyatt Regency Milwaukee is seeking an experienced and service-driven Front Desk Manager to help lead our Front Office operations, including front desk and bell/shuttle teams. You will work alongside a second Front Office Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, high-volume hotel. This position requires second shift and weekend availability.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of progressive hotel experience, or equivalent education/experience mix
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Strong skills in guest service, leadership, and problem-solving
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
  • Experience with Micros Opera and Hyatt systems strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with airline crew logistics and billing processes
  • Experience in a large convention/group hotel environment a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily front desk and bell operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and team support
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and service recovery opportunities
  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate front office team members
  • Manage scheduling, timekeeping, payroll, and labor productivity
  • Monitor daily room inventory, group blocks, and rate strategy to maximize occupancy and revenue
  • Support successful airline crew movement and group arrivals/departures
  • Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty program and emergency response
  • Collaborate with Accounting on billing, credit, and audit accuracy
  • Maintain supply par levels, front office organization, and key control
  • Support hotel initiatives to drive guest satisfaction scores and colleague engagement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,943.75 - $56,534.41 per year
