Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at Hyatt Regency New Orleans in New Orleans, LA. The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, assisting the head chef in menu planning and food preparation, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining food quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Culinary skills, menu planning, and food preparation experience
- Leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
