Summary
The Opportunity
The Security Manager is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the Hotel. This person will respond to guest and colleague emergencies, complete incident reports, and supervise the team. As the department head, they are responsible for the selection, training, and development of the team. The Security Manager will lead the Hotel Safety Committee meetings and ensure that the Hotel is up-to-date with emergency policies and procedures such as evacuation plan, active shooter, and natural disaster preparedness. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Operations.

Compensation
The anticipated compensation range is $68,640-$78,700 annually. The annual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.

Qualifications
Experience Required
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule of AM or PM shifts, holidays, and weekends
Experience Preferred
- 2-3 years of security experience
- 1-2 years of security management or supervising experience
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Familiarity with industry specific software, such as Opera
