The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred.

Qualifications / Description
· A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
· Must have basic communication skills
· Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight
· Ability to clean rooms based on company standards efficiently within the 8 hour shift.
· Dust, mop, wipe and vacuum furniture and all areas of a room
· Ability to respond to guest request
· Requires minimal guest interaction
· Must be able to work in
· Communicate to the team and managers what items needed to complete the credits.
· Must have a quick and efficient work ethic.
· Must be able to wear proper PPE at all times, this includes, mask, gloves, and other items based on your work.
· Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
· Ability to handle guest belongings safely and carefully.
· Should be comfortable with technology. Requires use of handheld electronic device for assigned room credits, tracking work orders and communicating with leadership & other departments.
· A friendly/caring approach to guests and fellow colleagues is required. All colleagues should be able to connect with others in a safe way based on COVID-19 cleanliness, hygienic and well-being standards.
· Must have a reliable transportation.
· Identify and report any needed repairs, preventative or other maintenance issues to Housekeeping Manager or Engineering Team
· Must be able to work independently and as a team
Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking amenities, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after the guest departs.
Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service
Report cases of property damage/maintenance issues in all spaces to supervisor
Customer service oriented and friendly
Prioritization and time management skills
Working quickly without compromising quality
Routine deep clean projects
Potential clean up of hazardous materials and spills
Experience is plus
Attention of detail/ heightened level of awareness
