This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include oversight of the general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. This person may assist in scheduling required staff for banquet functions.
The hourly rate for this position is $17.35/hr

- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guest.
- Lead associates by coaching, giving direction, including training.
- Responsible for making the function space visually appealing.
- Presenting the menu offering for the event.
- May include linen and table setting, food station design and beverage service.
- Clean what you are able to, use housekeeping as a resource for help when needed.
- Assist with monthly inventory.
- Adhere to proper food handling procedures and proper beverage procedures.
- Proper knowledge of equipment uses and safety procedures.
- Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

- Experience and a thorough understanding of banquet service.
- 3 years of related F&B and/or hospitality-related experience.
- 2 years in Banquet Captain or Catering Supervisor role.
- 2 years Supervisory experience, skills & abilities.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations.
- Excellent time management and planning skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
- Ability to maintain close attention to detail.
- Experience and a thorough understanding of banquet service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift a moderate amount of weight.
