Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, along with other beverages and light snacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area.
- Engage with guests, taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Handle cash and operate the Micros computer system efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Uphold Starbucks' standards for hospitality and service excellence.
- Experience: Previous barista experience and knowledge of coffee-making terminology required. Prior experience as a server is helpful but not mandatory.
- Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
- Customer Service: Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Technical Skills: Experience with the Micros computer system is preferred.
- Cash Handling: Prior experience handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system is required.
- Age Requirement: Must meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6-8 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity required to operate coffee-making equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant movement.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
