The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing overall hotel revenue for rooms and food and beverage through the implementation of effective pricing and distribution strategies.Out-perform direct competitors by winning market share with rational and competitive pricing, distribution strategy backed by targeted marketing, and careful management hotel inventory to maximize topline revenue and yield high net profits. Manage and oversee in house reservations team to produce effective revenue strategies and drive top line revenue. Provide guidance and support sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the hotel. Produce accurate revenue forecasts that help set hotel goals and outgrow the competition. Display leadership qualities that mentor, develop, and guide hotel team members such as revenue analysts and operations managers.
The salary range for this position is $ 68,640.00 - $95,700.00. This is the pay range for this position that The Seabird Resort reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maximizing overall hotel revenue for rooms and food and beverage through the implementation of effective pricing and distribution strategies in small to medium sized hotels.
- Out-perform direct competitors by winning market share with rational and competitive pricing, distribution strategy backed by targeted marketing, and careful management hotel inventory to maximize topline revenue and yield high net profits.
- Manage and oversee revenue management analytic functions to produce reporting that support and evaluate hotel business strategies.
- Provide guidance and support sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the hotel.
- Produce accurate revenue forecasts that help set hotel goals and outgrow the competition.
- Display leadership qualities that mentor, develop, and guide hotel team members such as revenue analysts and operations managers.
- Identifies new reservations sales business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
- Understands the overall market, including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
- Closes the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs.
- Assist Director of Revenue with Occupancy Operational Forecast and Weekly Forecasting
- Manage inventory and rates with assistance of Director of Revenue
- Direct and evaluate Revinate email campaigns and outbound revenue tactics
- Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and assist reservation agents
- Assists in monitoring group reservation forecast data and pickup.
- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked
- Assists with monitoring accuracy of reservation sales orders within tracking systems.
- Owner of Revinate Call System and all procedures
- Supports customer loyalty and property’s brand standards by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Provides excellent customer service consistent with the daily service standards of the brand.
- Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations, while building a relationship and loyalty to the company.
- Handles guest complaints and disputes following the instant pacification procedures.
- Monitors reservations sales agents while on phone calls.
- Develops, implements and maintains a departmental orientation program for employees to receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job.
- Mentors Sales Agents for continued growth and development
- Creates weekly/monthly labor scheduling for team.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Must have previous experience with forecasting and revenue management.
- Must have extensive experience with customer service.
- 2 years Hotel Reservations experience preferred
- Knowledge of Hyatt's reservation and revenue systems and procedures preferred: Synexis, IDeaS G3, Opera PMS, Travel Click, Revinate
