Responsibilities:
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Serve and assist customers with selecting food/beverages as needed
- Verify guests' identification to ensure they meet age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Have basic knowledge of menu prices, composition of items, preparation techniques, and time of preparation. Must be familiar with daily specials and offers to guests
- Make suggestions based on guest preferences
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
- Dress in appropriate event staff uniform at all times, while also maintaining professional appearance
- Act with the highest level of integrity in every decision
- Prior Food Service experience is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
- Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions
- A genuine passion for the culinary arts, food, and beverage, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with guests and colleagues
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, ensuring efficient service even during peak dining hour
- Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
- For applicants working in Denver CO, the anticipated compensation is $17.50 hourly. The salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
