Director of Food & Beverage Opportunity

We are seeking an inspirational leader with a passion for curating exceptional food and beverage and banquet operations (F&B), a talent for developing and mentoring teams, and a deep understanding of industry trends. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a Director of Food & Beverage in high-volume resorts and will report directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversight of 12 venues, including golf course beverage carts and high-volume banquet events.
  • Led and organized all F&B departments to ensure exceptional quality, service, and profitability through innovative sales and marketing strategies.
  • Oversee restaurant and lounge operations, catered and social events, in-room dining, culinary operations, stewarding, and other F&B areas.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Develop and oversee the F&B team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and professional development.
  • Direct financial planning, including payroll, budgets, forecasts, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate F&B operations with other resort departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Actively participate in resort management as a member of the Executive Committee.
  • Work with the culinary team to develop creative menus and concepts.
  • Uphold Hyatt and Wild Dunes standards of service and quality.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate resources and local vendors.

Qualifications : Qualifications :

  • Proven financial acumen, including experience with budget management, business planning, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performance teams and drive top-tier colleague engagement.
  • A track record of innovative, guest-focused programming and events.
  • At least five years of progressive resort F&B leadership experience.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and collaboration with culinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience implementing new F&B concepts and programs.
  • A degree in Hospitality or a related field is a plus.
  • Physical and Working Conditions :

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and walking on uneven surfaces.
  • Must work in various weather conditions, including rain, wind, and heat, both indoors and outdoors.
