About the Role
As a Systems Engineer at Hybar, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of IT systems— from provisioning devices and programming radios to managing servers, storage, and networking infrastructure. You'll play a key role in supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term technology initiatives. This is a highly technical, operations-focused role ideal for someone with broad IT knowledge and strong troubleshooting ability who’s ready to make a real impact on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with Integrated SaaS Providers, Managed Services Providers, and Cybersecurity Partners to support the ongoing operation and maintenance of their respective platforms
- Design, deploy, and manage Windows-based systems, including workstations, servers, and domain services
- Administer Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365, including group policies, security roles, and device compliance
- Program and deploy mobile devices and manage their integration into plant-wide communications
- Support and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VLANs, and Wi-Fi access points
- Configure and troubleshoot Windows Servers, file shares, and storage systems (VMware)
- Ensure systems are patched, secure, and monitored for performance and availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support automation, infrastructure projects, and IT/OT integration
- Support users on-site across all departments, including response to escalated technical issues
- Participate in planning and execution of infrastructure improvements, disaster recovery, and scalability
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a systems engineer, infrastructure, or IT operations role
- Proficient with Azure AD, Windows Server administration, and VMware
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: IP addressing, subnets, routing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Hands-on experience provisioning and supporting Windows devices and mobile devices using Intune
- Experience with storage systems, backup strategies, and server maintenance
- Comfortable managing physical and virtual infrastructure in an industrial setting
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Intune, endpoint management, and mobile device provisioning
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware)
- IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Network , Security )
- Previous experience in manufacturing, steel, or industrial environments
