Apparel Production Assistant

What is my role?

As a Production Assistant, you will coordinate with different departments and vendors, specifically at the production stage, to support the goals of on time delivery and quality shipments of finished products.

What You'll Do

• Work with Production Director to provide factories with necessary information to begin production cycle, color standards, quality standards, artwork/strike off reference, logging art file requests, etc.
• Send updated information as color standards, quality standards, artwork/strike off reference, etc. to factories during production cycle
• Open, review, and distribute factory submissions and provide comments/approval to factory
• Organize and maintain sample library
• Assist in maintaining WIPs
• Execute sample request forms
• Support the team in any other task that could be needed to achieve the team goals
• Actualize in AS400 as soon as shipment is in transit and chase documents early with shippers

What You'll Need

• 1-2 years’ experience in a comparable role in production
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Knowledge of AS400 is a plus
• Familiar with report creation and report reading
• Proactive in anticipating problems, facilitating problem solving, and addressing issues in a timely manner
